Isabela Vernier serves as International Player Director at International Soccer Academy, where she works closely with prospective players and their families to help guide them through the process of training and developing in Europe.
Based in Berlin, Germany, Vernier plays a key role in evaluating potential players for ISA programs, conducting interviews with families, and helping determine whether a player is the right fit for the academy’s international development pathways. Her experience living and working inside the European football environment allows her to provide valuable insight into the culture, expectations, and opportunities available to players pursuing the next level of the game.
Experience in the Soccer Industry
Milani has worked with several prominent organizations in the soccer world, contributing to marketing, communications, and community engagement initiatives that support player development and the growth of the sport.
Her professional experience includes roles with the LA Galaxy, the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), and SoccerToday, where she supported marketing, communications, and partnership initiatives that connected soccer organizations with players, families, and fans.
Through these roles she developed a strong understanding of the American youth soccer landscape and the importance of creating programs that support both athletes and the communities that surround them.
Experience in the Bundesliga Environment
Vernier previously worked with Hertha BSC, one of Germany’s historic Bundesliga clubs, where she served as Advisor to the Sporting Director.
In this role she supported football operations and contributed to the signing and onboarding of professional players within the club’s competitive European football environment.
Her experience inside a professional club structure provides firsthand knowledge of how European clubs identify talent, develop players, and build professional teams.
Vernier previously worked with Hertha BSC, one of Germany’s historic Bundesliga clubs, where she served as Advisor to the Sporting Director.
Living and working in Berlin has allowed Vernier to gain a deep understanding of the German football culture and the expectations placed on players developing within European academy systems.

Originally from New Jersey, Vernier relocated to Germany to work within the Bundesliga football environment and develop her career in the global game.
She brings a unique combination of expertise in sports law, player representation, and football development, having worked as a player’s agent while also studying the business and operational side of professional football.
Vernier also holds a UEFA B Coaching License, demonstrating her commitment to understanding both the technical and strategic aspects of player development in Europe.

At International Soccer Academy, Vernier serves as an important point of contact for players and parents who are considering ISA’s programs.
Her responsibilities include:

Her experience as an American living in Berlin for the past few years and working in the Bundesliga (Germany’s top professional soccer league) allows her to help families navigate the transition from North American youth soccer to the professional football cultures of Europe.
