Diane Scavuzzo is the Co-Founder of International Soccer Academy (ISA) and plays a central role in shaping the organization’s strategy, partnerships, and global communications. ISA was created to provide talented North American players with authentic development opportunities connected to professional clubs in Europe—pathways designed for players who want to test themselves in real football environments while pursuing the dream of playing at the highest levels of the game.
Through her work as both a soccer journalist and academy leader, Scavuzzo has developed a unique perspective on the global football ecosystem, connecting the American youth soccer landscape with the professional development cultures of Europe.

Since entering the soccer industry in 2010, Scavuzzo has developed a deep understanding of the American youth soccer landscape and the evolving pathways available to ambitious players.
As Founder and Publisher of SoccerToday – Voice of American Soccer, she has spent more than a decade covering the sport and interviewing influential leaders across the global game, including former U.S. Men’s National Team head coach and German legend Jürgen Klinsmann, as well as numerous MLS coaches, academy directors, and technical leaders shaping player development in North America and Europe.
Through these conversations and years of reporting, she recognized the need for meaningful international development opportunities connected directly to professional clubs.

Scavuzzo’s business and marketing expertise has played a key role in the success of ISA’s partnerships and collaborations with leading European clubs in the Bundesliga and La Liga. These collaborations and partnerships include Bayern Munich, FC Schalke 04, Hertha BSC, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Sevilla FC, Cadiz CF and RCD Mallorca.
Her goal is always to develop collaborative programs that create true win-win relationships—providing clubs with meaningful international engagement, exposure and player identification while delivering authentic professional training environments for elite, talented soccer players.
Her experience in brand strategy, media relations, and sports marketing has helped position International Soccer Academy as a trusted partner within the global football community.

Scavuzzo is widely recognized for her expertise in marketing, communications, and brand development, bringing decades of experience working with global brands and organizations.
Drawing on her communications background, she has led innovative marketing and benchmarking initiatives designed to elevate visibility for ISA players while promoting the academy’s professional club partnerships. These initiatives help provide exposure for players and programs while establishing new standards for how international development pathways are presented within the youth soccer marketplace.
Media and Business Leadership
Prior to launching SoccerToday in 2011, Scavuzzo worked in the television industry as an executive producer of lifestyle TV Specials, hosted a AM radio prime time show and founded a public relations and marketing firm on Madison Avenue in New York City specializing in entertainment, hospitality, and fashion.
This background in media, storytelling, and strategic communications continues to influence ISA’s global brand development and partnership strategy.

In 2021, Scavuzzo received the United Soccer Coaches Presidential Recognition Award for her contributions to the soccer community.
