Jens Baumer

Head Coach Integrated Academy — Former pro Bundesliga player, Jens Bäumer was on the German U21 National Team before playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach (2000-2003), and is very proud to coach at the same club where he once played.
Michael Scavuzzo

Michael Scavuzzo, an American Pro-Am footballer turned UEFA B licensed coach, began his career with the International Soccer Academy in 2020 after his college suspended activities due to COVID-19. He has traveled the player pathway and brings a clear and unique understanding of the International Soccer Academy’s values and goals.
Joining the Gap Year team at RCD Mallorca, and was awarded MVP for his skill. Having impressed his coaches, Holger Gehrke and Eddie Loewen, they arranged several trials and earned a contract with Germany’s Greifswalder FC.
In 2023, he joined the Hertha BSC Integrated Academy staff. A former youth player for San Diego Surf SC, Albion SC, and Barca Academy, he was recruited by MLS’ Sporting Kansas City Academy at age 16 after shining in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Showcase.
Francis Kioyo
Performance Coach (UEFA B License) Premier Pro Pathway
13 Year Career – 65 Caps in the Bundesliga
Francis Kioyo is a German footballer who played as a center forward for 65 matches in the Bundesliga, scoring 4 goals, and 155 matches in the 2nd Bundesliga, scoring 30 goals. Francis Kioyo also played at 1.FC Köln, FC Augsburg, 1860 Munich, and Energie Cottbus among other prestigious clubs. With 13,808 minutes combined in the first and second division, Francis also made three appearances for Cameroon where he was born.
Kioyo also celebrated victories on the field with his former Energie Cottbus teammate Gregg Berhalter, the former head coach of the United States Men’s National soccer team. Francis has played a total of 16,699 minutes in his pro career. Francis hung up his professional cleats in 2018, and began turning his expertise to developing younger players who could walk in his footsteps.

Holger Andreas Gehrke, born 22 August 1960 in East Berlin, brings a storied legacy as both a professional goalkeeper and a mentor par excellence.
Ioannis Grigorakis
Team Physiotherapist, Hertha BSC
Ioannis Grigorakis is a board-certified Physical Therapist who also specializes in nerve manipulation, soft tissue manipulation, and joint manipulation.
After completing his education, Ioannis worked alongside a therapist who worked for Olympiakos which gave him the experience of working with countless pro soccer players and other high-level athletes in Greece.
Grigorakis assists the team as the secondary Team Director as needed to ensure the players are always well provided for. He also lives at the BFV residence in Wannsee, just outside of the center of Berlin, Germany.
Patrick Weiser

Hailing from the legendary FC Köln, a former professional soccer player with a large fan base, Patrick Weiser inspires and develops the talents of International Soccer Academy’s youth soccer players as Head Coach of the FC Schalke 04 Integrated Academy.
With a prestigious career as a professional player and as a UEFA Pro licensed coach, Patrick has excelled both on the field and in the coaching arena.
A right-back as well as a midfielder, Patrick Weiser played 270 matches in the Bundesliga, 7 in the UEFA Cup, 16 in DFB-Pokal games, and 39 in Ligue 1. Suiting up for VfL Wolfsburg, 1.FC Köln, and Stade Rennes, Patrick’s career began as a youth player at FC Köln where is also played matches in the Oberliga and Regionalliga Nord.
As a coach, he has a proven record of guiding players from the academy to the pro levels.
Before coaching our FC Schalke 04 Integrated U18s last season and arranging 15 American youth soccer players to sign contracts in Europe, Patrick was the Head Coach of the Bayer Leverkusen U19 team. As a coach, he has a proven record of guiding players from academy to pro levels and is poised to shape our players on and off the pitch.
Soccer runs in Patrick’s family — his son is Mitchell Weiser, a professional soccer player who has played for Bundesliga’s Hertha Berlin, Bayern Munich and is currently with Werder Bremen.
