- Other Accolades: On the pitch, Oliver has trained with international clubs at the youth level including, the Deutsches Fußball Internat in Bad Aibling, Germany. He has also trained with former Manchester United GK coach Eric Steele, Loyola University GK coach Matt Pasquinelli, and former player/coach Alex Horwath from Real Salt Lake, New York Red Bull, and Ljungskile SK. With his previous club, Oliver regularly trained under head GK coach John Szaro from George Washington University and former professional goalkeeper Chris Torres. Prior to joining the Schalke 04 Integrated Academy, Oliver studied at the German International School of Washington D.C., a STEM/MINT affiliated institution. He carries a GPA of 4.0 (Durchschnitt: 1,4) and is working towards his Abitur and American HS Diploma. In 2022, he won the top prize in the Engineering Talent Competition of North Bayern (Nachwuchspreis des VDE Nordbayern) and in 2023, was a Wirtschaftsprojekt/Entrepreneurship Competition finalist. Oliver speaks fluent German, English, and basic French.
